This 75 hour course covers the key aspects of the National Electrical Code and the National Fire Alarm Code. It also covers the five basic fire protection goals as well as the most common types of fire alarm systems including the advantages and disadvantages of each. The most common fire alarm components, initiating and notification devices and how each works is reviewed. The proper location of initiating and notification devices will be covered.
